CORRECTIONS OFFICER JORDAN ANDREWS – MCSO

On 7/5/19, while working out at the Jersey Strong Gym in Manalapan, NJ, NJDOC Police Lt., John Tegano who is assigned at EJSP, suffered an Arrhythmia in his heart which sent him into cardiac arrest. Monmouth Correctional Police Officer Jordan Andrews, who was also working out at the gym, witnessed Lt. Tegano fall to the floor. Jordan immediately took quick action by performing CPR and utilized an AED to restore Lt. Tegano's heartbeat. 911 was contacted and Lt. Tegano was transported to the hospital where he received treatment and was eventually brought back to good health. The heroic actions taken by Officer Andrews were critical in saving the life of Lt. Tegano. This is a testimony not only to his dedication to the community, but to his professionalism and training as a Law Enforcement Officer. He is an example for all of us and those who walk the thin blue line in the Law Enforcement Community.
