Since 1978, the NJSOA has proudly served as the exclusive and duly certified employee (labor) organization collectively representing hundreds of supervisory law enforcement personnel of the rank of Lieutenant in the following agencies: NJ Department of Corrections (NJDOC) Juvenile Justice Commission (JJC) NJ Division of Parole State College & University Police NJ Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)—State Park Police and the Division of Fish & Wildlife’s Bureau of Law Enforcement NJ Department of Human Services Police NJ Office of Weights & Measures Palisades Interstate Parkway Police NJ Department of the Treasury’s Office of Criminal Investigation
We hold General Membership Meetings on the second Tuesday of each month. The Executive Board and Committees meet at 4:00 PM. The open membership meeting begins at 5:30 PM. All active and retired members are welcome to attend. The meetings are held at The American Legion, located at 601 Broad Street, Florence Township, NJ 08518, phone 609-499-9803.
Special speakers and guests may request to attend through President Sullivan.
